Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. Deejay Zip developed an early appreciation for music, spending much time with his father, DJ Lawrence, aka “Poppa Dukes “ TPS The People’s Sound.
Of Caribbean descent, Zip’s love and knowledge of different genres of music became natural. His incredible blends combined with the talented voice of his brother, Lee Anthony, Zip keeps crowds on the dance floor enjoying every minute.

With over 25 years of experience, Zip became well known amongst the talented Deejay community. In 2007 Zip created the group “The Incredibles”, which led to the creation of the leading Caribbean Internet station based in NYC, “myradiolive.com”. It is one of the the most requested stations online, and is still creating a buzz throughout the city and the world.
